| Bio: | Who am I? How the hell should I know? Well, you went to the trouble of clicking on the link, so I suppose I should say something. Perhaps the most accurate description of me would be a ‘Jack of All Trades’, with an emphasis on ‘Master of None’. As a child, I was a recluse, and then a desert rat, spending my hours wandering the rocky sands of northern Nevada, lookin’ for answers. As a teenager, I was a friendly, depressed psychopath, lookin’ for a reality that I got along with, and determined to blow the rest of them to shiny little bits. As a young adult, I was double-sided facade between two realities, not quite knowing which one was real. Luckily, the wind blew, the façade fell, my mind broke, and what was left was… me! While I am still trying to define exactly what that is, I must say that it has been a pleasure to meet myself after such a long time. I’ve heard a lot about me. On a more practical side, I have been a petting-zoo caretaker, a gun salesman, a whopper-flopper, a computer lab consultant, and have run the gamut of the security world – everything from a lowly desk guard, to a nightclub bouncer, from a high-profile corporate security supervisor, to an officer in a maximum-security prison. Hi-diddly-de, that life ain’t for me! Most recently I was able to work as a writer, writing manuals for a number of high-profile PC games (Kohan II, Age of Wonders: The Wizard's Throne, Hidden & Dangerous 2, and Axis & Allies come to mind), as well as writing a stack of strategy guides for Gamespot.com. That aspect of my life has come to an end, but seeing myself credited as an author in a commercial book (and in the rolling credits on a PC game) has been a highpoint of my life! Lately I am a full time… homemaker! Yep – I stay at home with two children, the youngest two, and the oldest four. The eldest is mildly autistic, and the task of caring for the two of them, as well as keeping the house itself running, is much more of a challenge than I ever faced as a corporate thug. | |||||||
